Mansfield is a city in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex of North Texas, situated mostly in Tarrant County with smaller portions extending into Ellis and Johnson counties. It lies about 20 miles from downtown Fort Worth and 30 miles from downtown Dallas, adjacent to Arlington, which places it in the middle of one of the nation's largest urban regions.
