I was raised right here in Abilene. I grew up cheering at Friday night football games, going to church on Sundays and enjoying small town life with my family and friends. I graduated from Cooper High School and attended Baylor University where I earned a degree in Education. I also met my husband, Will, while in college at Baylor. After graduation, we were eager to see what the world had to offer and set out as an Air Force family to follow Will's career. 

Moving back to my hometown gave me more perspective on what matters most in life. I loved being able to share some of the things I had growing up with my own children.  Abby and her husband Zach both earned degrees from Baylor University, as did my daughter in law, Olivia.  Our son is the black sheep of the family with a degree from Texas A&M, but of course, he thinks we are an Aggie family!  

I enjoy serving in ministry at our church, cooking and baking, and archiving pictures and videos to capture special family memories. My husband and I also help lead a Life Group and Sunday school class at our church.  I enjoy hosting get-togethers every week with several other couples while we help each other keep our marriages and families strong.
