New Fairview is a small city in western Wise County, Texas, northwest of Fort Worth, with a portion of its territory extending into neighboring Denton County. The 2020 census counted about 1,400 residents, a population that has grown steadily from roughly 877 at the turn of the century as families and individuals have sought acreage and quiet within reach of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
