Dublin is a city in southwestern Erath County, in the Central Texas region between the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex and the Waco–Temple–Killeen area. It sits south of Stephenville, the county seat, within the Stephenville micropolitan statistical area, and anchors a small, agriculture-rooted community amid the region's farms and ranches.
The town is best known for its soda-bottling history. Dublin was home to the first facility to bottle Dr Pepper and to the first bottling plant in Texas, a heritage that stretches back more than 130 years. Today the Dublin Bottling Works operates at the state's oldest bottling facility, producing craft sodas in a variety of flavors and drawing visitors to its soda shop and plant in the center of town.
